To increase consumer access and knowledge of fresh and nutritious foods and to build a sustainable food economy. This provides greater food security for all in Caswell County as it supports local farmers while creating jobs and prosperity.
Our Programs
Caswell County Farmers Market
Caswell County Farmers' Market will open on April 24, 2025, and run every Thursday 4-6:30 pm until September 25, 2025. This year there will be two holiday markets: Thanksgiving November 13, 2025 and Christmas December 4, 2025. Stop on by, you will be glad you did!
COMMUNITY LUNCHEON PROGRAM
The Caswell County Local Food Council provides a complimentary lunch for the community on the third Wednesday of each month. Locally grown ingredients are featured in the meal and the event often includes a community member group providing updates and details on their activities.
